Following our successful inclusion on the design framework for Kew Gardens we have completed our first project: a timber enclosure for new irrigation pumps.
The pump house is part of a broader project to ensure water security across the gardens and demonstrates a commitment to the institution’s environmental sustainability goals.
The design uses interlocking timber struts that mimic the appearance of structures in nature – a fallen leaf and palm frond - to screen the machinery inside.

Voyage of Discovery
The British Antarctic Survey’s £100m scientific support and operations facility, the two-storey 4500m2 Discovery Building, has been officially opened at Rothera Research Station. Completion of the building marks a major milestone in the long-term modernisation of the station and establishes a world-class home for cutting-edge Antarctic science and operations.

Laying it on
Councillor Paul Dimoldenberg, Lord Mayor of Westminster, was on site today to lay some of the final tiles at the refurbished toilets at Piccadilly Station, part of the £12.7m project to refurbish 8 sets of underground toilets in the heart of our capital.
