Work has started on site to renovate the Waterlily House at Kew Gardens.
The grade 2 listed wrought iron and glass structure was completed in 1852 to showcase the giant Amazon Waterlily. The project forms the first phase of the ambitious Palm House Project and has been made possible through a generous gift from the Julia Rausing Trust.
